Research: Welcome
Research: About

Some of the important research activities aim to address the urgent challenge we face for renewable energy, climate change, as well as green and innovative nanotechnology. Understanding how nanomaterials operate, as well  phenomenon at  the atomic scale, is essential for the development of an efficient, eco- and smart nanodevices. Thus, the fundamental research in the field of surface sciences using advanced techniques to synthesize and investigate properties of interfaces is the strategy deployed to provide tentative answers and explore new opportunities.

Combined TEM and XPEEM (X-ray photoemission electron microscopy) were used to investigate the impact of plasma processing on electronic and chemical properties of graphene. The surface modification of graphene includes cleaning, patterning  and doping.
